LET THE POWER OF THE CROSS BE SEEN IN YOUR LIVES
LET THE POWER OF THE CROSS BE SEEN IN YOUR LIVES
Apostle Mike Etrue, Area Head of Suhum Area of the Church of Pentecost has urged Christians to demonstrate the power of the cross of Jesus Christ in their lives. Apostle Etrue made this known during his Good Friday message at Nsawam Djankrom during The on-going Easter Convention of Nsawam zone of Suhum Area of the Church of Pentecost. The Area Head's message was based on 1Corinthians 1:18 and outlined some of the benefits of Jesus death on the Cross.
1. It reconciles an ungodly world to the God of all creation.
2. It redeems mankind from the bondage of sin and the power of the devil.
3. It redeems mankind from generational, ancestral and self acquired curses.
He also asked Christians to eschew the domestication of the cross as a mere sign to be carried around as necklaces and ornaments.
The evening service which was nearly marred by a heavy rainstorm, Officers and members defied the cold hazy weather to attend the session in their numbers. Although many items such as sound and lighting system and hired canopies were destroyed, revival broke out and there was a mighty visitation of the Holy Spirit. Twelve souls were won for Christ. The sick and the spiritually oppressed were prayed for. Yes, the cross of Jesus Christ will never lose its power.
