I remember all the good which have come my way
Since I met you. Oh yes… that day
When the Lord brought you into my life
When I met you in the days of my desperation
In days of a very high disappointment
When I was very lonely and at times confused
Bearing all the ups and downs of life alone
Then the Lord gave you to me
As a perfect and treasured gift
And things started getting better
Better and better when the days passed
Weeks passed and months passed
And now, eight years have passed
And you are still my most treasured possession

The Lord is still causing the increase
One, two, three lovely and intelligent children
And you taught them to call me "Daddy"
And so I am Daddy because of you
All because of special you, my sweetheart
If I were a poet, I would compose poems about your love
If i were a singer, would sing out your love aloud,
Yes very aloud; oh Maame Stella
For I remember perfectly well
All your positive impact in my life

As today marks the eighth anniversary
Of our Holy Matrimony, let the whole world hear:
I still love you, just as I promised that day
I will continue to love you throughout my life
Just as you are - yes, just as you are
Aging may take away all your physical beauty
Your strength and agility may wane
But i will continue to see your inner beauty
As a virtuous woman, a lady of good substance
For i still remember what I saw in you
The very first day you came into my life

With you, I count myself very highly favoured
Amongst the most luckiest of men on earth
Your diligence and nobility surpass mine
Your patience and self-control, I come no nearer
Yet you give me all the respect
And humbly submit to me in every way
That is why you are my better half
