*BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY: GOD'S COMMAND FOR MAN'S PROSPERITY*

TEXTS: Gen. 1:28, GEN. 2:1-15

_"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth"_

When the two creation stories in Gen 1 and 2 are combined, certain revelations come out about God's dealing with man:

🔨God created all the needed resources for Man before He created man.
🔨Man was not created to suffer because he was supposed to THINK AND ACT as God. That's where the true image of God in man can be located.
God's resources are sufficiently abundant to cater for all human needs. (Distinguish between needs and wants,  because God supplies needs, Phil 4:10)
🔨God expects us to manipulate the needs he supplies in order to produce all that we want. That is what God refers to as taking dominion.
🔨Wherever there is Man, God's resources are in abundance, because God made man with a soil full of gold.
🔨God desires to give you more than enough so that more would be left for you to give to others in need (Josh 19:19).

Do you realize that for man to be successful, he has to HEAR AND OBEY the word of God fully?

It is very unfortunate that we make reference to the command in Gen1:28 only during marriages because we think it refers only to bearing children. It actually applies to every facet of human life… Man should be fruitful and bring about increase! That’s Gods ideal for us as His legitimate children.

HOW CAN YOU BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY?

🚗 Identify how to tap into God's resources.
This is done through prayer. If God opens your eyes in prayer, you will be able to know what to do in order to make you prosper where you are.

🚕 Acknowledge the Lordship of God over your possessions.
Do away with the thinking that it's only through your own toils that you are what you are now. Give credit to God 

🚙 Give willingly to God.
You can never downplay the correlation of giving and prosperity. Those who give prosper. Those who give multiply. And those who give effectively take dominion over anxiety, sickness and any psychological torture which emanates from the camp of the evil one.

🖍🖍 In actual fact, the most important key to multiplication is giving. If you take the main text to refer to procreation (or giving birth), it still stands to imply giving. How can we increase the human population? A man sleeps with a woman and gives a sperm which fertilizes the egg of a woman in order to produce a baby. Just as physical multiplication of human kind depends on giving, so spiritual and material increase also rely on the same principle of giving. So if you want God to multiply your wealth, GIVE MORE!

CONCLUSION:
As His rightful children, God wants to be fruitful and multiply. If you want to really obey His first commandment to man, then learn how to create wealth, give to God and share your experience to motivate to others
